Labral Bridge – a technique which, as the first in the Czech Republic, was operated by MUDr. Pavel Holeka, Ph.D., MBA.The surgery itself was preceded by an internship at the orthopedic-trauma clinic with Dr. Heuberer in Vienna.

This is an arthroscopic procedure used to correct anterior instability of the shoulder joint, most often post-traumatic. It is an improvement of the classic surgical method, where, using most often 3 self-knotted anchors together with the so-called labral tape, we can repair and fix the capsulolabral complex to the glenoid in a gentler and more stable manner, thereby significantly speeding up the return to full sports loading of the joint.
It is a gentle and very effective shoulder surgery with good clinical results and minimal recurrence of complications.
