Neurosurgery
Notice to clients! For the first visit, please bring all previous examinations (neurologist, EMG) and images (x-rays, CT, MR, etc.) available to you. If you do not have the images, ask the referring physician to send the images to the Day Surgery Center (by mail or electronically). Without complete documentation, the neurosurgeon cannot fully assess your case!
Anesthesiology and intensive care focus on monitoring and maintaining patients' vital signs during operations.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is the most common so-called strait syndrome of the peripheral nerve on the upper limb, which affects about 10% of all people.
Elbow canal syndrome is the second most common so-called strait syndrome. The triggering moment is pressure on the ulnar nerve (nervus ulnaris) in the area of the elbow joint.
Guyon's canal syndrome (sulcus) is a less frequent so-called strait syndrome (peripheral nerve damage caused by the compression of the nerve by surrounding structures) of the upper limb.
Morton's neuralgia (Morton's neuroma) is caused by pressure and irritation of a cutaneous nerve that is chronically stressed when stepping on the sole of the foot.
